Photoshoot #2

I finally got back into college!! The weather conditions are still poor but I've been able to access college facilities this week and worked further on my project. In addition, I have also finished my feature article this week, and my second photoshoot took place...
I asked Evie to model for the magazine because she's a really beautfiul girl, and I wanted to create the juxtaposition of a soft face striking hard poses. She has a really expressive face too. Here is her casting shot:

I had a pretty clear idea of how I wanted the shots to look, I wanted to create one for the contents page and one for the front cover. I wanted one of the pictures to give the "rock chick" look which I feel would appeal to my target audience, for this look I chose Evie to wear ripped tights with a long tshirt that reads 'summer rocks' and a leather biker jacket, with lots of beads. For the second look I wanted to create a softer, more Indie style, so I wanted to use lots of bright colours, and after much deliberation I decided on red and purple, with Evie wearing a purple dress and bright red heels and red lipstick.

Before the shoot I had to completely change Evie's image, and gave her a bit of a makeover... :)

Read my next blog for the raw shots of the shoot!
